Education & Outreach Programme

Our Mission

The Habbit Factory's Education and Outreach Programme offers specialised services for education settings and more.

In a world where learning can feel restrictive, THF offers bespoke, non-linear workshops and services for all; giving young people the opportunities and tools to build the career path that works for them.

What We Offer

Curriculum Boosters.png

Curriculum Boosters

Our Curriculum Boosters are designed to enrich educational experiences by seamlessly integrating performing arts into traditional subjects. These interactive sessions add a dynamic element to the curriculum, making learning both engaging and fun. They are especially beneficial for students who find traditional learning methods challenging.

After School Clubs

At The Habbit Factory, we use theatre as a powerful tool to enhance personal growth. Our After School Clubs explore drama, dance, singing and much more in a relaxed and safe space

Using creative arts like drawing, singing, dancing, and writing, we help students explore and express their struggles. This supportive environment provides them with the opportunity to be heard and to create something that reflects their feelings. Our goal is to build their confidence and make their educational experience more positive and engaging.

School Production Services.png

School Production Services

The Habbit Factory offers comprehensive directing and production services for school plays and musicals. We collaborate with class teachers on existing scripts or help create original jukebox productions using familiar music and themes.

Behaviour.png

Behaviour Projects

At The Habbit Factory, we work with students in both specialised and mainstream education settings, focusing on behaviour within the community. Our approach involves understanding the root causes of these behaviours and exploring them through physical and creative expression. Our goal is to create a supportive environment, where every young person can have their moment in the spotlight.

The Habbit Factory offers a variety of sessions to cover teachers' PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time. We provide engaging subjects such as music, dance, singing, drama, songwriting, devising, stage management, and theatre tech courses. These unique subjects, often not readily accessible to students, can open new doors and opportunities in the arts.

Pastoral Projects

Our tailored programmes are designed to meet the specific needs of individuals and schools, ensuring a personalised approach to each unique situation. We create a psychologically safe environment where students can explore and express their thoughts and feelings on current social challenges our young people are exposed to.

Angela Winch, Headteacher of Drapers Brookside

“The Habbit Factory is an invaluable part of our community and we are so proud to partner with them in supporting some of our most vulnerable pupils and their families."
